Conestogo

Along its path the Grand River collects a number of significant tributaries that expands its volume as it travels to its destination. The Conestogo Conservation Area contains the primary source of the Conestogo River - Conestogo Lake, created by a dam that was built in 1958. Along the river is the Mennonite Community of St. Jacob's and the St. Jacob's and Waterloo City Farmers' Market.
