ASK Festival King - Summary

A packed 2 weeks of arts, heritage and nature events in beautiful King. Events include the Soirée, Drama & Music Performances, Workshops, Heritage and Nature Tours, and Art & Craft Exhibitions.

- ASK Soirée, King Township Museum

A celebration of sights, sounds and tastes of King with artists, musicians, dancers, culinary artists, vintner and brewer.

- July 5 to 19, History of Women's Institutes
- July 5 and 6, Antique Quilts

- “Discover the Creative You” workshops

- Art Camp at King Township Museum, 9 to 12 year olds develop complex art projects.

ASK has linked the King Township Library's Community Calendar to our Web site, by using a common community calendar we are better utilizing King's community resources and reducing duplication. ASK thanks the King Township Library for taking on this community Calendar and allowing us to include it here.

ASK will still highlight its own activities and events, in more detail, on this site.

Art in Lobby

King artists are featured in the lobby of the King Township offices. ASK, in partnership with King Township's Park Recreation and Culture Department is organizing changing exhibitions in the lobby. The art work will change 3 to 4 times a year providing opportunities for artists to show their work. The art work may be purchased by contacting the artists directly.
