Biography
Phyllis Vernon, who lives in Nobleton, is basically self-taught. She has benefited from numerous workshops with professional artists in Canada, France and Spain, as well as extensive reading and experimentation on her own. She usually paints in watercolour (sometimes on canvas) but also likes to add gouache, ink, coloured pencil or other media, experimenting with the effects they produce. She travels extensively, sketching and later painting her experiences.
