Artist's statement
Andrea Loeppky is an emerging acrylic painter, her subject matter ranges from landscapes and architectural compositions to abstracts and multimedia collage work. Her signature is strong colour and energetic brush strokes. Andrea paints from her home studio in rural King Township, where the rolling hills and farmland feature prominently in her landscape work. Andrea explains “I am often inspired by what I see around me, I hope my landscapes convey the natural beauty. Whereas when I create my abstract works, it’s essentially play.”
